Emerald

Emerald is one of the oldest and most historically significant gemstones, prized for over 4,000 years. Later, during the Spanish conquest of the Americas in the 16th century, vast emerald deposits were discovered in Colombia. These Colombian emeralds quickly became the most valued in the world due to their exceptional deep green color and clarity, and they were traded across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
